  • Andy Carlson

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

Andy joined LIFT Online Learning as a facilitator and coach in 2023. He brings a unique gift from his professional life in finance and law, where he provided guidance to corporations and executives. His journey and passion for holistic trauma recovery began twenty-five years ago with a foundation in mindfulness. Since then, it has evolved to encompass Somatic work, Compassionate Inquiry (inspired by Dr. Gabor Maté), and the integrative work of EMDR.

Andy's focus lies in the healing of fear, shame, anger, and distorted beliefs by cultivating energies of compassion, gratitude, and joy. His mindfulness training adds a unique depth to the trauma recovery process, creating a nurturing space for self-discovery and healing. By tailoring Somatic techniques to the individual, Andy maximizes the potential of both body and mind in the journey of trauma recovery.

He has a unique, compassionate approach in creating a supportive environment for healing.

  • Anita Gladu

    | LIFT Online Learning Coach

Anita worked as a healthcare worker for over 20 years as someone who had never truly “unpacked” and resolved the extreme trauma from her childhood. When she hit her rock bottom, she recalls feeling left in a very dark place that she wasn’t able to see her way out of.

“I couldn’t move on from the pain of my past which meant I couldn’t move into a future with any hope of finding love or happiness.”

This year marks 10 years in recovery for Anita and the tools she found in the RE/ACT program taught her to truly process and heal wounds; wounds a child should never have to experience.

    “This saved my life.”

As a facilitator + coach for the last 8 years, and having completed Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry course, Anita feels blessed to be able to give back to the RE/ACT program by helping others find their way.

After a few years of working there, she is now the Director of Lift Online Learning and working towards her Masters in Counselling.

Brittany started working with Tim Fletcher Co. originally as a musician in Winnipeg, MB, due to her love for music. Her connection to the organization grew as she slowly became more and more connected with people. From there, Brittany naturally grew into a facilitator and attended school for counselling.

Brittany is quiet and a deep thinker, but she also enjoys good fun and laughter. She loves nature and animals, and writes songs and crochets for fun. Life is good living with her sister, 2 dogs and their cat.

  • Donna Fitzhenry

    | Senior Graphic Designer

Donna grew up in the Philippines. Her childhood home experienced dysfunction and Donna found herself in roles of responsibility - often taking care of her 3 teenage brothers.

In 2012, an opportunity came for her to immigrate to Canada. She didn’t think twice, and risked everything, everything she had known her entire life to make the move. After 8 years as a graphic designer, Donna joined Tim Fletcher Co.

Here, Donna discovered Complex Trauma, and how it helped connect the dots from what she had experienced in her childhood and how it affected her through anxiety and burnout today. She also learned the importance of speaking up and setting boundaries to help her work powerfully and effectively with a team.

This understanding helped her find answers, and find fulfilment in helping others. She is the core creator behind all of our beautiful graphics, curriculum and website.

“I have always been met exactly where I was at, with no expectations and given the love and nurture I was so desperately lacking. This helped me grow and flourish into the person I am today. I am incredibly humbled and grateful to now be apart of this amazing team. It is like a dream come true to be able to give back and help others.”

  • Julie Valentine

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

Julie grew up in the UK with rather traditional parents in what she believed was a normal, happy childhood. With very busy, hard-working parents, little time was left for Julie. As a perfectionist and people-pleaser, she formed codependent relationships, resulting in believing that her needs didn’t matter.

As a trained Computer Scientist, Julie landed a job as a Software Engineer and stayed in this field for 32 years while getting married and becoming a mom of 2 beautiful children. Still unable to truly cope, Julie fell into severe depression after the passing of her husband.

For 16 years, Julie tried to understand why she could no longer feel any emotions. She called on GPs, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and Energy Healers to help, but to no avail. Finally in 2020, Julie found Tim Fletcher on YouTube.

“LIFT Online Learning enabled me to reconnect to myself and my emotions and gave me a way to understand my subconscious patterns. Now, I can respond to situations rather than react to them. I believe the content of this program explains all of human suffering… “

  • Kim Fletcher - B.A. (Psychology), ECE

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

Kim Fletcher is Tim’s lovely wife. Everything Tim learned about Complex Trauma, he learned from being married to Kim, a strong, authentic Complex Trauma survivor and warrior.

They have 3 children together who are all in their 30’s, and have worked hard to build relationships with them, trying to repair the broken connection due to their own flawed parenting styles and trauma responses.

Kim’s two daughters work with her and Tim in LIFT Online Learning and COMPASS Facilitator + Coach Training, and have faithfully worked on their own CT. Kim has a great relationship also with her son, and is currently (lovingly!) pressuring him to geographically move closer to them so they can build a fuller life with him as well.

Kim has a degree in Psychology, is an Early Childhood Educator and has completed Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry course. This blend of education has made Kim very passionate about helping people connect to their bodies and emotions, and truly healing the wounds from childhood.

  • Kirstin Veugelers - Ph.D (Biochemistry)

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

At the start of Kirstin’s career, the last place she expected to end up was supporting people to heal from Complex Trauma! As a young adult she pursued biochemical research because molecules and cells are predictable and don’t talk back. Her perspective changed after two decades in the academic setting, first in research then as a contract lecturer, when finally she recognized that the academic culture wasn’t healthy for her. ]

In a mixed blessing, next she started a private practice as a patient navigator: like academia, entrepreneurship also fed the anxiety and self-doubt, but it was through the patient navigator role that she discovered the work of Tim Fletcher.

Hoping to enhance her skills in accompanying individuals through traumatizing complex medical journeys, Kirstin enrolled in the LIFT and COMPASS programs in 2022-2023. To her surprise and delight, the experience is helping her to heal her own complex trauma fears that have run her life. Giving thanks for the gifts of peace and groundedness, now Kirstin is honoured to accompany others on their complex trauma healing journeys. In addition to learnings from COMPASS, Kirstin employs principles from the group practice of Holy Listening (as taught in the Pacific Jubilee Program). Her style has been described as warm and motherly, and naturally draws her to nurturing wounded inner children.

  • Kristen Neil

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

Kristen completed the LIFT Online Learning program in 2022. She witnessed growth and awareness among her classmates which inspired her to round off her own growth with COMPASS Facilitator + Coach Training.

“I find it truly inspiring to see participants of the program find freedom from Complex Trauma.

Complex trauma and addiction is hard, and recovering from it is also hard. I'm fortunate because I was able to pick my hard, which I did when I chose to do LIFT with Tim Fletcher Co. Once I completed LIFT, I moved on to COMPASS, which was truly the hardest work I've ever done. Working alongside the most compassionate and loving team, I've learned so much about myself and my capabilities and gifts. I've been on a decade-long philosophical journey, trying to understand the human condition. I've been a yoga teacher, an advocate for mindful self-compassion, a meditation pusher and an inner child finder and befriender. Along the way, I've discovered how valuable my ability to listen can be to those I coach; who are recovering from Complex Trauma. As a facilitator, I've been able to witness firsthand the growth of so many people as they move through Phase 1 & 2, and this brings me great pleasure.

  • Marie-Claire Bilyk - M.Sc.

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

Marie Claire progressed through LIFT Online Learning and COMPASS in 2023. The Tim Fletcher experience was a decisive turning point in what had been a seven-year journey of intentional recovery. She had been seeking healing from early attachment trauma, the stress and grief of a blinding eye disease, boundary struggles in her closest relationships, and a health collapse into fatigue, migraines, and a chronic depressed mood.

Like the hub of a wheel, LIFT helped Marie Claire to unify and apply healing tools to her body, mind, spirit, and relationships, empowering her to realize significant forward motion in her life. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, their two young adult children, and her guide dog, Rhonda.

In addition to her COMPASS facilitator and coach training with Tim Fletcher Company, Marie Claire has a Master's Degree in Nutrition, training in whole body biomechanics and Somatic work for trauma recovery, and certifications in Christian spiritual direction. • Merle Plett

    | LIFT Online Learning Facilitator + Coach

Merle Plett came across Tim Fletcher while looking for answers for her teenage son who experienced serious trauma as a baby and was struggling with addictions. While watching several of Tim’s videos and sitting in on Friday- night Tim Talks, she recalled many painful and difficult events their family had been through and realized her husband and herself would benefit greatly studying and learning Tim’s material.

Also working at Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada, Merle has begun to truly understand what she believes and why. She lives out her calling and offers Tim Fletcher Co. and her family gifts of joy and courage. The grace, love and patience with herself is growing and it naturally spills over to others as she stays faithful to her continued healing journey.

Merle loves nature, including going for walks with her beagle “Hunter” and cat “Dave”. She loves breathing in crisp, cold winter air and enjoying relaxing in her hot tub.

She believe the 12 Steps taught her how to live free from her addictions but the LIFT Online Learning program and the team including her coach from Finding Freedom taught her why she needed the 12 Steps in the first place.

She has healed many wounds and repaired many relationships that did not seem possible. Morag is trained as a Coach and Facilitator through COMPASS as well has many other trainings in modalities such as Psychodrama, energy healing, Reike Master, holistic counselling and early childcare education.

As a LIFT facilitator, they strive to create spaces that open the heart to such empathy, vulnerability, and deep healing. Thomas has been described as compassionate and calming when facilitating.

Thomas’s main recovery program was founded in 2019: Recovery Dharma (RD). Thomas cherishes that RD doesn’t require a Higher Power and welcomes all addictions. • Tim Fletcher

    | Founder + President
